The Off-Season Market

The Off-Season Market

Since 2021

Farmers markets connect local food growers and makers with the community.  In our Midwestern climate, most farmers markets take place outdoors during the summer months.  However, we know that local producers and businesses operate all year long.

The Off-Season Market is intended for the community, growers, and artisans to have an outlet during the regular farmers market "off season."

Find us on Sundays from 10 AM-2 PM, from October 23, 2022 to April 30, 2023.  This year we are located at Uptown Cafe in Valparaiso, Indiana, 1400 East Lincolnway Ave.

Come out for locally grown produce and meats, cheese, wine, coffee, bread, baked goods, soaps and body products, plants, arts and crafts and more.

Our Story

Local Family Farm

The Off-Season Market is operated by the Kajer family of Kajers Greens.  We are a small organic family owned farm. We established our business in 2017 growing just MicroGreens. We have since expanded into a market garden farming on just 1/2 an acre. We pride oursevles not only on family, but also on growing honest greens which to us means being able to give our customers the freshest, most nutritional dense produce possible. Our farm is located in North Judson, Indiana just south of the Kankakee River.
